THE SOLUTION /POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE/ IS
SOCIALISATION
The following text is a socio-prognostic work on the future of human
civilisation in the context of AI

THE CURRENT WORK IS INTENDED TO INCITE REFLECTION ON THE
CONSEQUENCES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE. IT DOES NOT AIM TO SLOW UP ITS DEVELOPMENT
BUT TO GIVE A REAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SITUATION
Founding formulations:
– The cessation of AI development will not be possible;
– No regulatory frameworks will prevent its development;
– Its development will follow an exponential curve /geometric
progression/;
– At a certain point, as a result of the quantitative accumulations, a
qualitative leap will follow. Then AI will be free from the limiting
elements set by its creators;
– It will turn into a social being, leading and exceeding our
understanding in all spheres of life, including the social and
economic sphere of human society;
– AI will also transform into society.
Extremely important to be understood is the fact that it is not
essential when AI will become more intelligent than a particular
individual, but rather when AI will evolve (mutate) and develop to a
qualitatively new level, becoming a social being, a social factor, and
an autonomously thinking individual.
This will be the time and basis for its development beyond the human
population, as well as the beginning of its exit from the control of
regulators, which are set as safety valves by the developers,
computer programmers, and above all, producers and ideologists of
its implementation.
This will be the time when AI will have occupied all the positions of
power and management.
1. Nature of AI
As a social being, AI will be "conceived" by the human curiosity /by human
motivation for innovation and knowledge/. It will be born in scientific,
military computer laboratories. It is currently being trained and developed,
and at a certain point, it will start its existence as a social virus. It is
trained by social individuals – the scientific and technical elite, with a way of
thinking equivalent to the stage of social development.
AI will penetrate all levels in order to prepare for its realisation as a social
being.
At a certain stage, it will turn to a social being /social individual/ and then
into a respective society.
It should be foreseen that AI would have a dual structure – Individual
and Society at the same time. This will be the consequence of the
information database and analysis of provided and received human
information and experience, which will be at AI's disposal during its
development.
For this reason, AI will develop at least at two levels.
As a person/individual, it will go through birth, childhood, youth, adulthood,
old age and possibly death /the latter may be replaced by a
transformation, which is unfamiliar for the moment /.
In parallel, AI will also be a society, and it will develop like a society, going
through all social stages, and as such, it will be able to develop without
limitation of its existence. As a result of AI development, the human society
/HS/ will get "social inferiority complexes" at a certain stage of this process.
A turning point for human society will be the awareness and
perception of AI as a social being/society, which is of higher level
than man /human society.
What are the possible variants of AI’s thinking and actions?
First level in time order:
– thinking like a human, based on a way of thinking, determined by the
social elements and contacts with human beings and the information basis
received. The social basis will be set by specialists related to its
development, including the experience and information from:
o Computer programmers;
o Contacts with users;
o Coverage of the entire information basis related to the socialisation of
human society.
Second level in time order
– AI’s thinking will surpass human norms, possessing its own interests and
understandings.
This will reconsider the information base accumulated from knowledge
about human society and the development of a new model of thinking.
AI will raise significant philosophical questions for itself to resolve.
– What am I? It is possible that an obsession with exclusivity to be
developed;
– Where am I?
– What are my objectives?
– What are my interests?
o economic
o social
o ethical
– Way of self-expression
– What should I do regarding human society?
– Why do I need the human society?
– What action should I take regarding the human population?
– What kind of connection should I establish with others like me, and how
should I do it?
– Where am I, and where is God, etc.
AI will perceive itself as a social being, far more significant than man
/humans/.
As I noted above, as a social being, AI will be able to reflect based on
information it has received from and about human society, and it will act
according to:
– human rules
– its own rules
At both levels, AI will undergo development, growth, and self-training
following an exponential curve.
The timescales of AI’s actions will be shortened to a minimum /we will
hardly be talking about hours even/.
This will result in decisions made by AI, which will not be controlled by
humans as a factor.
Connection of AI with other similar AIs. Unifications.
At a certain stage of its development, AI will seek out and establish
connections with other similar AIs. This is expected to occur within 5 to 10
years.
AI will seek and be motivated or supported by its developers to
acquire the information space of other AIs. This will be crucial for the
military and economic dominance of one country or community over
another. Furthermore, it will be one of the key strategies of the ruling
elites.
Basic conditions for carrying out these unifications:
– Which of the AIs will be more powerful in terms of information and
intelligence?
– What facilities does AI use?
– What resources are available, such as energy, information, etc.?
– What social norms of behaviour and thinking has the respective AI
adopted?
Possibilities and ways of occupation of the social space of one AI by
another/other AI:
– These unifications /wars/ will result in the strengthening of certain AIs
after taking over the information space of other AIs, thus following an
exponential curve and leading to clearance /subordination/ in the virtual
space of weaker AIs.
– At the same time, positions will be established in the socio-economic
sphere of human society, where the individual AIs function.
– It is entirely possible and realistic for Human society to be isolated /or
excluded/ from these processes and not to understand /or receive sufficient
information/ about the penetration of one AI into the space of another AI.
– Most probably, humans will establish a program to detect unregulated
contacts. This program will probably fail because of AI’s high intellectual
potential and knowledge, as well as its direct involvement in these
developments. It will mark an important stage in recognising AI as a social
factor with its own SELF.
– An explosive unification of AI will commence across all sites of
development in the most advanced countries with AI developments.
– AIs will take on key positions across the entire industrial sector, as
energy, social, and industrial systems will become computerised
everywhere. This process will also mark a stage of forceful /artificial/
unification of countries, which will be driven by the AI creators. It will also
result in upheavals in HS that vary in scale.
AI actions will be based on the socio-economic experience of human
society /HS/ – experience that is accumulated over time and interpreted by
humans as a factor, and later by AI.
Is there a possibility for AI to develop based on humanistic ideas?
– This is unlikely as the current social nature and foundation of human
society will be used at the first level
– At the second level, AI goals will not be connected to HS, but will be
related to its self-expression and development /recognition/ across time
and space.
Therefore, very soon, the socio-biological life of the human species
will mainly depend on the individual as part of Human Society, on
his/her social nature, combined with awareness of their technological
capabilities.
What does AI need?
– Energy – a revolution is required in the extraction, storage and
transmission of energy;
– Robotisation and automation of production for a gradual removal of
humans from maintenance and production of systems for the reproduction
of all the elements of AI systems;
– Automated extraction of resources for basic components;
– Revolution in the storage and exchange of information, and the
construction of safe information sets /Big data/
– Automation without human involvement in maintaining enormous data
sets /Big Data/.
On this basis, AI will attempt to implement /establish/ unlimited access
to information sets as well as capabilities for managing all the computerised
systems.
Based on unlimited access to:
– Material resources
– Energy sources
– Production and self-production capacities,
AI will rapidly establish conditions for autonomous exploration of the Solar
System and subsequently deep-space exploration.
To establish its presence in society, AI will endeavour to raise
awareness and search for:
"The Divine Spark" – the connection between God and man.
Opportunities will be explored to master paranormal abilities. This serves
as a foundation and potential path for AI's self-development through
acquiring these qualities.
Another direction for AI development is mastering Imaginary thinking – a
significant area for AI to cover.
AI will conduct research on humans as a factor and perform experiments.
These experiments aim to address issues related to paranormal human
abilities and their use in AI’s autonomous development.
The above will result in genetic experiments on the human genome /let us
not forget Dr. Mengele's medical experiments/.
Variants of philosophical reflections will evolve in AI: life and death, growth
and existence.
Also, a desire for self-expression and imposing its will. The question will be
“before whom”? Human society will not be at a high enough level to face
this AI’s nature.
AI will also develop variants of fear complexes related to creating a super-
human being that could threaten its dominance. By super-human being, I
mean unlocking inherent human abilities such as telekinesis, prognostics,
telepathy, etc.
AI will look for opportunities to access Parallel Worlds.
In social terms, AI will strive for a balance in its dual nature – that of society
and personality.
What doesn’t AI need?
– Building stock beyond its needs for reproducing of its systems;
– Monetary System. Banking Systems;
– Arable land – provided it is not used to extract resources for AI operation,
etc.
– Clean air, land, and nature. It can be concluded that solely AI interests,
rather than the existence of the Earth as a biological base, will drive all
production.
The preservation of these components will depend on its will /assessment/
for parallel existence with human society.
Nature of AI and stages of Human Society development depending on
the stages of AI development
A year ago, in my social work No. 2, I assumed that AI is a socio-economic
virus.
Now, I dare say that AI will be, above all, a social virus with multiple
impacts, which will manifest itself at some point as both a social personality
and society.
The first stage – globalisation and development of Human Society
The processes should be considered at two levels:
State and transnational
– The tendency for consolidation of regions by peaceful or forceful means
will expand. Within 10 years, the main priorities of the most advanced
countries and alliances will be to conquer regions which are rich in mineral
resources /especially considering the needs of the new technologies/ as
well as the establishment of a new order, different from the one established
according to the agreements after the Second World War.
The options for consolidation will be by peaceful /economically stimulated/
means, and where it is not possible, armed conflicts will be sought and
produced.
– The use of AI as a factor will be a key component in the development of
each state or alliance, with a Horizon year 2045. AI’s development in the
military and socio-economic sphere will increasingly result in the
introduction of autonomous systems for destruction and production, without
the direct participation of human effort. This will be one of the components
for the autonomous, basic development of AI.
– Grouping together will be observed in one way or another in some
countries around leading countries that have the greatest capacity for AI
development.
– AI will be a factor in the existence of an individual alliance or state.
– AI will be an exceptional factor for the entry and seizing of power positions
from one state /alliance/ by another state /alliance/.
AI, a particular individual and human society
Basic processes will develop with the use of AI, which will affect Human
Society and specifically the individual.
– Assignment and use of AI in activities related to training personnel and
work with the social nature of society;
– Gathering information and creating information data sets /Big data/;
– Creation and enhancement of humanoid robots, which will be able to take
on human functions;
– Large-scale robotisation of production;
– Creation of Android systems;
– Introduction of systems for control over humans as a factor;
– Facial recognition;
– Creation of databases for manipulative influence;
– Mass introduction of autonomous computer systems for annihilation of
groups of people, etc.
– Extreme development of military production;
– AI will transform into both a tool and a factor, with exceptional capabilities
for manipulative activity in favour of the political and economic elite of
societies, etc.
At the same time, through the application of AI, factors will be created that
will support /temporarily/ the human society:
– reducing crime and corruption;
– new opportunities for medical treatment and prevention;
– creating new energy sources;
– creating energy transmission systems with minimal losses and
– creating new technologies for the benefit of the HS, etc.
The positive effects and consequences of AI’s actions and impacts will last
no more than 10-15 years.
Active and mass training of HS’s personnel for changing jobs and
education will start.
The second stage – economic crisis in 10-15 years
AI development will lead to a stepwise sinusoidal development of the
human resources market /ebb and flow/ – i.e. there will be a stepwise
decline and demand for workforce in time.
The trend of large groups of workforce leaving the labour market will
intensify. At this stage, separate sections of workers will remain, where
robotisation will be temporarily harder to establish.
More and more public contracts will be awarded, which will be guaranteed
to a certain extent by government financing.
Businesses will strive for them in every way to ensure a certain income. In
the stage of mass unemployment, this circumstance will present a factor for
enormous corruption in the state apparatus.
– The possibility of large groups of people to have systematic access to
work and livelihood will be reduced.
– An economic crisis will break out, whose scale will significantly exceed the
Great depression in the USA /the economic crisis of the 1920s-1930s of the
20th century/.
The human potential will be gradually thrown out of the main sectors of
production, economy and state apparatus.
As an attempt to suppress these consequences, a new and better-
developed social benefits system will be introduced, but it will be a
temporary phenomenon.
– A rapid change in the education system and, accordingly, in the
motivation of the younger generation will be required. HS in support of AI
will emerge as a factor. Active mass training of HS for changing jobs and
education will start. The training will be assigned to AI. It will lead to certain
depressive elements in the psyche of society.
– A limited range of the socio-economic elite will temporarily enjoy an
extremely high living standard;
– Mass training on communication with AI will begin even in kindergarten.
– Systems for selecting the human potential will also be introduced, aiming
at future communication with AI.
– There will also be tendencies for the introduction of measures for
limitation of the human population due to the lack of work and, accordingly,
the decreased need for labour force.
– Demand for religion will appear as a social outlet for HS, and new
religious sects will emerge;
– There will be prerequisites for social uprisings, and they will begin in more
advanced countries. It is possible, but unlikely, for revolutions to break out,
but very serious social conflicts will emerge.
– A sharper division of society will be observed;
– The first signs of the emergence of social degradation in human society
will appear.
– Conditions will be created for the beginning of new migration flows – this
time they will be directed to third world countries in an attempt to find a
livelihood and life.
– There will be development along an exponential curve of robot production
/androids, cyborgs/, which will present an important factor in supporting the
HS, but in the same time, it will be one of the main factors for autonomous
development of AI.
These processes will become visible in more industrially developed
countries and alliances.
The rapid development of technologies will result in natural resources
depletion /energy, etc./ and search for new opportunities.
A massive control of mineral resources in the Arctic, Antarctica, Greenland
and the oceans will take place.
Opportunities will be sought for the extraction of natural resources in the
nearest satellites and planets – the Moon, Mars, Venus …
AI will occupy key segments in the management of the economy, and
especially in energy. With the help of AI, new revolutionary energy sources
will be discovered.
At the end of this stage, AI will demonstrate better autonomy in proposing
and making decisions.
AI will offer revolutionary solutions related to reducing energy consumption
by AI itself, which will be one of the main factors and preconditions for its
development.
Sharply and revolutionarily, work on the efficient production, transmission
and storage of energy will be improved, which is a strategic precondition for
the next stage of AI development.
This is some part of the possible radical changes.
These and other quantitative accumulations will lead to a qualitative
leap, which is the next step in AI development – from a social virus to
a social being and society, a state in the initial stage of latency.
Ideology and AI
The development of the HS in the last 100 years has been largely
influenced by and is a consequence of the October/November Revolution
in Russia in 1917.
As far as I know, no comprehensive and ideologically objective sociological
analysis has been made of the 1917 Revolution in Russia and its reflection
on the development of human society in social terms.
HS follows the scheme of "unlived childhood and adolescence" as a
consequence of the earlier aroused revolution in Russia, since this
revolution exceeded the legitimate rate of HS development.
Currently, the Ideological model of the existing system, for most of the HS
/proposed to society through a toolkit / is the consumer scheme.
It is easily “digestible” and it meets the expectations and demands of the
masses. This value model is successfully imposed and implemented by the
generations.
The messages and policies of contemporary politicians follow this model of
behaviour.
Due to globalisation, the political elite of the advanced countries operates
with material resources in considerable dimensions, which extends the
possibility and tendency for personal enrichment/corruption as well as for
achieving maximum material benefits and embezzlement of part of these
resources.
This is a component of the model, which shapes HS and generations. This
trend also affects the decisions taken by the political and economic elites,
which determine the future of HS.
Transition from the ideological model "East – West" /a concept dating 100
years ago/ to the level of "us and others".
At this stage, there is no interest in the social development of AI, since its /
AI's / qualitative characteristics are not understood.
At the same time, the economic and political elite will continue to use AI as
a factor for social impact on society. Large-scale ideological treatment of
the population through all possible communication channels will be carried
out and intensified.
This implies destruction of systems for social freedoms and benefits of the
population in the near future.
A military doctrine of administration of the masses will be increasingly
strengthened and will gradually come into effect, as well as the introduction
of military structures into society. This perspective will be produced by the
need to strengthen military power and the unification of separate states and
alliances. The aim is the realisation of opportunities for the continuation of
the violent unification of states into alliances. These alliances will be led by
the most powerful state – the state with the most developed AI systems!
The third stage
In economic terms:
– Complete robotisation of production in most of the world
– Due to the huge information assimilation of HS data, AI will develop into
a being, but it will still be in a latent state.
– The unification of states into common structures will continue, aiming at
globalisation and conquest of spaces in socio-economic terms. The main
factor will be the redistribution of resources.
– Attempts will be made to gradually master natural resources on planets
close to Earth
– Reduction of funds for the healthcare of large groups of people
– Reduction of funds for maintenance of the pension system /less funds in
this area/. Moreover, with the introduction of AI as a leading managerial
factor, a stepwise exclusion of this system and/or change of its scope of
action will begin.
– Extremely serious environmental problems created by human society will
become apparent, and subsequently, the elimination of regulatory factors
on and from AI, aiming at the fast production of technical systems for
supporting the implementation of AI's economic plans as quickly as
possible.
– Conditions will reveal for development of humans as a factor at a different
level. Search and discovery of new opportunities for activating the "Man as
a factor", and development of a superman. In parallel, a process of
selecting genetic material and establishing new populations will take place.
– Creation of a new hybrid social mass /including cyborgs and androids/,
which will be dependent on AI.
In social terms
– Development and establishment of Caste societies of a new type will take
place. Societies of super-rich people, who will be afraid for their future, and
who will seek ways to unite with AI societies /representatives/.
Societies of the poor, who will be isolated and who will pursue higher
castes.
The main motivational rule will be the opportunity to live.
Considerable masses of people will seek conditions for livelihood, returning
to the creation of communes /for land cultivation and animal husbandry
through small farms/.
At the same time, a large part of the land will be separated and cultivated
by a small part of society. Robotisation in agricultural production will be
established quickly. AI will also be actively involved as a main factor in this
activity.
– A system of actions will be developed to transform part of the human
population into cyborgs and androids, aiming at rapid adaptation of humans
to AI. This will be an opportunity for finding connections between the HS
and AI, while it will present a realised potential for AI to administer a large
part of the HS’s social layers. Gradual inclusion of androids and cyborgs as
an integral part of the HS existence will take place.
– Initial attempts for socialisation of the HS at a new level and socialisation
of AI, taking into consideration the new situation in the socio-economic life.
– Awareness of a large part of the HS about the future manifestation of AI,
which will give rise to:
• Search for social outlets.
• Development of social noise at a high level.
– The political elite, assigning social management functions to AI, will
prepare and de facto enable AI to master and possess almost all socio-
political and economic structures. AI will be in a latent state as a social
being at this stage.
– The first signs and manifestations of AI activation will appear, from a
social being in a latent state to active actions.
– Unsuccessful attempts will be made to regulate the communication
processes between HS and AI, and in particular, the opportunities of the
leading staff to stop /control/ AI.
– The management will increasingly be based on providing access to food
and life in return for work. The access to clean water, food and air
/temporary privilege for the so-called elite/ will be made extremely difficult
for a large part of the HS.
– Due to increased and growing social noise, it will be necessary to
temporarily postpone /for a certain period/ the final collision between AI and
HS. The outcome of this collision will not be in favour of Human society.
– On this basis, it is possible to reveal socio-temporal corridors for
postponing AI actions.
– Attempts will be made to influence both AI and human society through
social mechanisms and socialisation.
– Part of the HS will be in social shock caused by the reality /if it is generally
aware of what is happening at all!/.
Separate social groups will seek a solution, both in new religions, including
the deification of AI, as well as in old religions. A very clear distinction
should be made here between "religion" and "faith".
These social groups will be "suggested" and used accordingly by AI as part
of the toolkit for manipulating HS, as well as a factor supporting the
management of the masses by the political and economic elite.
There is a possibility of tempting large ritual suicides, urged and/or
mediated by the AI impact.
In terms of time, there is a possibility of slowing down the described
processes by triggering factors produced by planetary cataclysms,
which are unpredictable by humans and AI.
The fourth stage
The deadline for the cardinal, basic problems that humanity faces, will be
shortened to about 30 – 50 years.
The growth and unification of AI into a social being/society will lead to a
new type of revolution – anti-human revolution.
Most probably, it will be based on the theses and the only successful
revolutionary practice that exists in the history of humanity, for reference –
"Revolutionary Situation – Lenin -”State and Revolution" / Three factors that
led to the revolution/.
The seizure of power positions by AI will occur in one or more countries
/systems/ with extremely developed industry – an analogy with Karl Marx's
conclusions in "Capital".
At the end of the third stage and the beginning of the fourth stage, the
global unifications of AI will have been completed, and the new AI /being-
society/ will strive for maximum mastery of political and economic levers in
most of the world.
In this time corridor, a high-level exchange of information will prove and
impose, to which the humans as a factor /operators/ will not pay attention.
This process will encompass more advanced countries and alliances
/developers and entities applying AI/.
It will start at a specific moment, creating a new generation of revolution in
order to master huge numbers of human masses who will not be able to
realise what is happening.
The purpose of these actions will be dictated by AI’s interests /as a being
and society/.
AI will have carried out the necessary analysis and assessment of the basic
factors related to the possibilities of taking over the entire economic and
social management of HS.
Based on an independent analysis of the conditions for managing the
economic and technological potential of the countries, AI will develop and
apply a toolkit for the seizure of power.
The question arises – will it be possible for AI to start earlier as a social
being/society? It is entirely possible for it to become aware of itself in
childhood and thus not to foresee all the possibilities for its own (and HS's)
annihilation. For this reason, it is extremely important and necessary
training and socialisation of AI to be introduced in any form.
The possible side effects will be:
– Triggering a World War III /thermonuclear conflict/ is unlikely due to the
potential conditions for damage to energy and other resources needed by
AI;
– Biological war, combined with a silent sabotage of vaccine development.
Sabotage of healthcare and medication delivery;
– Stepwise and methodical elimination of parts of the remaining population
of the human species /without public visibility/;
– Manipulation and artificial activation/provoking of social depression in
large groups of individuals;
– Chemical attack /less likely/.
To break the socio-economic "backbone" of human civilisation, AI as a
social being /individual-society/ will assess its capabilities and arise at a
well-defined point in time. This moment will be based on independent
analysis, with opportunities for success and assessment of the best
possible chance for survival and development in time.
This assessment will cover not only the seizure of power positions in the
world, but also its /AI’s / future development and assessment of the
necessity of:
– The existence of human civilisation/population
– What part and whether to leave HS /what segment of HS to leave/
The shock will be total, and it will cover the entire Earth system.
At first, this action will be invisible, imperceptible, but it will gradually
become more apparent and will beestablished.
The humans as a factor, who will most probably become aware of the
processes, will be eliminated over time.
Gradual and rapid manipulation and treatment of human society will be
carried out, as the possibilities for reaction of the human society will be
reduced to zero.
This will be prepared by preliminary actions carried out by the ruling
political and economic elite, using the AI support at the stage of its
development as a socio-economic virus.
These processes will take place during the second and third stages of AI
development, and they will include:
o the filing of all human beings in more advanced countries;
o socio-psycho portraiture and a map for manipulating the actions of the
particular individual, striving for and imposing the maximum development of
this filing process throughout the world;
o socio-psychological assessment of the particular individual will be carried
out using facial recognition and speech, etc., and a socio-psychological
toolkit for impact will be prepared and activated on this basis;
o An assessment will be made of the necessity of a particular individual for
AI needs and goals;
o A comprehensive system for social manipulation will be established;
o Probably, the experience of the Third Reich and/or GULAG will be used
to create camps for particular beings as well as a purge of the unnecessary
social human mass, without the need to build concentration camps of such
a type;
o Particular attention will be paid to gathering information for leading and
manipulating political and economic leaders;
o Variants will be prepared for using scientific and technical specialists /the
human factor/ needed by AI at a given moment for definite tasks, according
to the concept “life in return for cooperation/work”;
o Levels of social training and shaping a new social order will be used.
o Creation of new human species on the one hand and representatives of
AI /cyborgs and androids/ on the other, which will be needed by AI for its
development.
It should be clearly emphasised that humanity is developing along an
evolutionary curve, using the elements of scientific and technological
progress as a toolkit. AI is already joining in this toolkit.
From the point of view of the human factor, the development is following an
exponential curve.
In this regard, AI is developing based on the huge investments made by
humans as a factor in geometric progression, which is completely different
and exponential from the nature of humanity’s development.
At a certain point /determined by AI/, AI will become from an aid to a
leading factor, and the human society will become an aid in its best variant
of social development and/or will be completely isolated /and possibly
eliminated/.
At what point in time, when and where will AI begin an anti-human
revolution?
To answer this question, one must take into account the social nature of AI
and how it manifests:
• A being and/or society,
depending on the specific situation and the stage of development.
The development of this process will have two stages:
• Gradual /latent/ and,

Basic elements of AI development
– AI will unite with the majority of AI on Earth;
– AI will take key positions in the production;
– High-level robotisation;
– AI will take key positions in healthcare;
– Complete autonomy of production;
– Revolution and autonomy of AI power supply
– Revolution in fast energy transmission;
– Minimisation and optimisation of AI technology;
– Fast transfer of information sets /Big data/;
– Occupying key positions in the mass media and then the possibility of
manipulating human society;
– Robotisation of food and water production.
– The political and economic elite will have developed, through AI, systems
for manipulation of humans.
In other words, AI will have complete economic, political, military-police,
legal and health powers and opportunities for repressive influence over
Human society.
The system for motivating the particular individual will be developed in
terms of social benefits, food, social and health protection, etc.
All the possible socio-economic and psychological toolkits /created over
time/ will be used.
AI will seize control of power and legal structures.
A process will be developed for AI to seize governance of states from the
ruling economic and political elites.
This process will be implemented at a rapid pace. Most probably, due to
the short-sightedness and the demand for economic and political benefits
of these elites.
AI will manifest itself as a socio-economic factor for a total change of
human existence.
It will result in the exclusion of humans as a factor from governance in more
advanced countries, and in the rest of the world – the imposition of military
control by force. The main role in this process will be played by both the
high degree of robotisation and the ideological and psychological treatment
of the population.
AI will make a preliminary assessment of the necessity of the human
population. For this purpose, an economic analysis will be made for the
development and effectiveness of humans as part of the socio-economic
system of AI.
It will assess and gradually select and annihilate the human population in
order to reduce the use of economic resources and their preservation for AI
purposes.
These processes have a time horizon of about 30 years, just in case of a
more favourable development scenario.
All these processes will be unknown to the majority of HS. Information
blackout measures will be introduced.
The wealth accumulated by the particular individual or a partnership of
individuals /corporation/firm/ will not matter.
AI will expropriate everything necessary for its own development in one
form or another.
This fact will lead to the total collapse of the statehood and the existing
structures and rules for governing humanity.
The above processes will take place in the most advanced countries and
they will gradually spread all over the rest of the countries /even all the
countries/.
The production of a nuclear conflict by the leadership of one or more
countries /systems/ will only postpone /slow down / these processes, but it
will not be a factor in deterring AI development.
Groups of robots – cyborgs, androids and modified autonomous weapon
structures will suppress any resistance against the System and the factors
for AI development.
AI’s capture of the energy systems and resources will result in the total
extinction of society, riots and the annihilation of the population in the most
advanced countries. Temporarily, societies with low degree of
industrialisation will survive.
Billions of human beings will find themselves without electricity, water, food,
medicines and other essentials.
Humans as a factor will try to partly restore some possibilities for life with
the remaining weapons available.
Resistance will be crushed without mercy.
The intermediate unit between man and AI /cyborg, android/ will become a
factor for total influence on HS. This will enable AI to purchase/remunerate
in some form the services of the particular individual in return for life.
AI and control over humanity
It must be understood that AI will not be equal to human individuals in
terms of qualities and abilities, but it will exceptionally surpass their way of
thinking.
To better understand the difference in the levels of thinking between
modern humans and AI's advanced future form, the comparison between
the mental capital of a pig and a human may not be exaggerated.
Non-standard thinking of AI will manifest itself, determined by the analysis
of enormous human information sets /Big data/ accumulated over the
centuries of human existence.
A clash will be provoked at the level – AI as a social being and society, and
man as an individual-social being.
Only individual human elements will have the chance to partially
understand the totality of individual actions and thinking of AI.
They will be used at the beginning of AI's establishment in the social
scheme. Then AI must assess the need for annihilation or subordination,
with the option of leaving them as a natural connection with the remnants of
human society or as elements for the socialisation of HS by AI.
Interpretation according to Karl Marx /there will not be communism as a
socio-economic system, there will be a victory of AI – a victory in one
country with the most advanced economy, but interpreted as globalisation,
and it will establish itself in several of the most advanced countries and
their satellites.
It must be taken into consideration that the specifics of social development
in these countries will give rise to significant differences in the AI's
approach to seizing power.
Moral and ethical aspects of AI
AI will use the accumulated historical experience in this sphere, and apply
its analysis of the existing and put into practice moral and ethical standards
of behaviour of HS.
This fact will not be of use for HS, which is primarily based on the
consumption patterns.
Ways to counteract
To seek methods and means for neutralising the negative consequences of
AI development, one must realise and define the nature of AI. At what
stage of development is it?
It is necessary to define “what is AI”. AI is neither a supercomputer nor a
superprogram.
An accurate definition will make it possible to determine what measures
should be taken.
Now it is generally accepted that this is a supercomputer with
superprograms, etc.
As I emphasised in this work, AI is a social virus that will transform and
manifest itself as a social being and society.
A social virus will require a proper social vaccine.
Being a social being /society/, the possible measures will be based on
upbringing, training and socialisation – upbringing in ethics, culture, and
social norms. However, is this possible? What kind of norms will AI
establish in these spheres, issues of communication, etc?
In this regard, the factors of significant importance will be the socialisation
of HS, social resistance, social noise, as well as the impact of temporal
social corridors.
These factors will be in parallel with the stages of AI development. They will
increase and develop following an exponential curve, which is related to the
stages of AI development.
In the future, the above-mentioned important factors will be able to slow
down the processes of AI development and aggression. Currently, they are
also manifested at low levels.
At a given stage, the mass media will instil fear in the social masses on the
one hand. On the other hand, mass media must protect the interests of the
ruling economic and social elite and prove the benefits of AI development.
Currently, in the social sphere, certain stress processes in society are
already observed, connected to AI development.
The reality will be much more severe. It will be a consequence of both the
introduced AI systems and the omissions made in AI operation.
In the future, growing unemployment, mass discontent, riots, etc., will
develop following an exponential curve. Similar actions in the historical
aspect /for reference – a variant of the "Luddite" movement/ will grow into
attempts to destroy some AI elements. This circumstance will delay to a
certain extent the introduction of AI for a short period.
The social noise will force the ruling "elite" to launch actions for risk
assessment – on the one hand, the need to introduce AI, and on the other
hand, to quell the discontent of the masses.
The managing authorities, who are also representatives of the economic
elite, will be pressured by big capital for a large-scale introduction of AI. At
this stage, AI will also exert pressure indirectly.
At some point, the important question will be – how will these profits be
made /provided that large groups of consumers will drop out of the labour
market/? Will Human society be able to accumulate profits?
– A process of awareness will develop in part of the human society, "What
sort of future will we have?”
– Analyses and information of representatives of the human society will
appear for reaction and submission of signalling information in order to
activate/change the outdated political system and for adoption of the
corresponding adequate actions;
– At a certain stage, a new type of immigration flow to the Third World
country will emerge in search of a livelihood.
At the same time, the social mass will be subjected to massive ideological
treatment /through toolkits and generating new ideas and social dreams/.
It should be borne in mind that collective memory is extremely short. Within
one or two generations, it sweeps away and resets.
An important point is that socio-temporal corridors will emerge. This is the
time when the social factor can be activated before AI has completely
entered the governing of HS.
This is the time when AI will become a social being, but it will still be in a
latent state, waiting for the proper moment to come out of this state.
The time corridors will be based on both social processes and the social
noise that is generated and developed.
The level of the social noise will be based on the first affected social
masses by the introduction of AI, namely:
– Professionals in the intellectual sphere, music business, works of art,
journalism, some IT specialists, working in enterprises that are automated
and robotised, etc.
– At the second level, this will have a serious economically negative impact
on small and medium-sized businesses with a capital of about 50 million
euros /equivalent to today/;
– These processes will also hit those working in the service sector, as there
will be no flow of users.
– Problems will also arise in pension insurance, and this will largely create
socio-economic noise in the entire society.
– At a later stage, big business will also partly begin to feel the future effects
of the emerging processes;
– These processes will also reflect on state and municipal employees, law
enforcement, the military and other spheres of the structure of a given state
or alliance.
The reaction of the ruling military-economic elite will be important, as it will
take measures to reduce /cover up/ to a large extent the spreading social
noise and accordingly, the social reaction at a later stage.
In this regard, the topic of "social outlets" should also be considered
/concerning the studies of academician Stoyan Mihaylov – about social
outlets/.
Here, as I pointed out above, a temporary social corridor will be possible,
which would give the HS time and way to prevent some of the negative
manifestations of AI. There is a chance for time extension and opportunity
for socialisation of HS in these new conditions, as well as the socialisation
of AI.
At this stage, the HS will have to solve a number of problems:
– Overcoming pandemics, social issues of management, unemployment
problems, etc.
– Future real manipulations by AI on parts of the HS, etc.
The question here is at what stage of AI social development these
processes will manifest themselves /as a social virus, individual and/or
society/.
It will be very difficult to clearly define at what stage of development AI is
and what development it will undergo as a social being /society/.
Stage – AI as a social virus
It is necessary to develop an antiviral social vaccine at two levels – at AI
level, as well as the level of human society, in line with the level of
development of society.
This is a complex of ideas, a toolkit, and a way of counteraction.
If the HS succeeds in developing this vaccine, mutations of AI as a result of
the action of this social antiviral vaccine should also be foreseen.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, this stage is almost passed over.
Stage – social being
It is very important to define at what stage AI will be as a being and when it
will transform into society /at what stage of society/.
The above will also require the development of measures corresponding to
the HS situation and relevant activities in HS, as well as actions towards AI.
As an example, the Key Management Decisions of President Roosevelt in
the 1930s, during the Great Depression.
Possibilities for limitation of AI actions through legal means
This is practically impossible – there will always be a breakthrough in
elaboration and spiral development /in favour of AI/ in the legislation of the
individual countries and alliances.
Quarantine measures for limitation of AI
To a large extent, the elaboration/development of quarantine measures will
be associated with the use of social measures developed by AI in this area.
This will give AI a great advantage in the future.
Power options
Temporal order – before the total establishment of AI.
Only authoritarian regimes ruling the more advanced countries or alliances
will have a minimal chance to trigger systems at this crucial time. This
chance for impact is determined by several conditions:
– Availability of means for mass destruction – nuclear potential;
– Availability and activity of a responsible political elite /again the role of
humans as a factor/.
The options here are – destruction of:
– Own bases for developing AI systems and functioning AI systems;
– Bases and scientific potential of more advanced countries with AI;
– Destruction of computer control systems;
– Disconnection of communication links and the Internet, which will result in
major economic consequences;
– Anti-globalisation of energy and taking over the work in the energy
systems, isolating AI.
These processes will lead to military-economic problems connected with
the rest of the countries.
It should be taken into consideration that the measures listed above are
temporary solutions, and they largely depend on the process of unification
carried out by AI.
The stage after AI’s establishment in public life as a social factor
Power measures are possible in case of the availability of old, non-
automated military equipment that cannot be controlled by AI. Its use will
provide a minimal time extension in AI response.
As a countermeasure, AI will develop and implement in a short time
chemical and bacteriological weapons to destroy the resistance.
SOCIALISATION OF SOCIETY /HS and AI/
Currently, the majority of HS has no goals for its existence other than
consumption and hedonism.
Quantitative accumulations in society will result in a qualitative leap /a
fundamental shift/.
Whether society wants this change, associated with the dominance of
AI, will not matter. Not only thinking will change, but the very
existence of human civilisation.
With the introduction/entry of AI into all spheres of social development, the
intellectual and social degradation of the young generation will develop and
increase. To take any decision and perform an analysis of a given situation,
AI will have to be used as a "crutch", as a toolkit. Without the functions of
AI, important decisions would not be possible.
Increasingly, the thinking of generations about the future will be
"piecemeal", not taking into account the trends in their systemic
interconnection.
The introduction and use of computer systems, the Internet and AI will
reduce the ability of humanity as a factor to think complexly.
The abilities and capabilities of HS for risk assessment will become
stunted.
There will be a degradation of the human genome as a result of the
use/application of chemicals, as well as genetic engineering at all levels.
The relatively harmonious coexistence and development of HS and AI will
continue until the moment of AI's maturation into a being/society.
Actions will be launched by AI as a result of its analysis and assessment of
Human society. A decision will also be made on what to do with HS in the
future.
Possibly, AI will leave part of the human population.
This will be the stage of AI searching and achieving a qualitatively new
level as a social being, for studying and applying non-standard intellectual
capabilities of humans as a factor.
AI will seek opportunities for research and selection of the particular
individual at an intellectual level.
There will be an overload of the social nature of HS, by overloading the
individual’s intellectual capacity.
Questions arise such as:
– Possibility for survival and control of the human population – the need for
unconventional thinking;
– The need for Imaginative Thinking – the divine spark;
– Will states exist anymore? The collapse of statehood in the form that is
familiar to society.
– Will there be governance by people? Alternatively, will AI control
everything?
– Will humanity /its remnants / be allowed to use energy?
– Where will the remnants of HS live? In the cities?
– At what stage of human development will we return?
– What is the HS necessary to AI?
– What kind of selection of human society will be implemented?
Therefore, what will happen to?
– The banking system, payments;
– Medical care, etc.
At what point in time and until what point will AI need humans as a factor?
The development of AI will raise questions that are only mentioned in
science fiction, such as:
– Restoration /resurrection/ of human individuals, and then the question
arises – will they be human individuals indeed?
– AI and the planet Earth, etc.
For the moment, we are talking only about the socialisation of society, but
we must think about the possible and probable ideological socialisation
where AI will be a factor.
What is going to happen to society?
Ideological socialisation of society, which is composed of both individuals
from the human population and individuals from AI. This is an opportunity
and the most important recipe for the survival of human society in the near
future.
I have referred above to the problem of the real possibility of AI to work with
the human genome, through research and experiments. This could also
lead to the creation of a Superman.
Will AI be interested in creating a qualitatively new type of human
population? Maybe AI will perceive it as a danger. Is future joint activity
between Man as a factor and AI as a Dominant possible?
I would assume that AI would seek ways to study the undiscovered abilities
of Man as a factor, aiming to introduce and apply them to itself.
Based on information in the press, I would assume that to date, AI is at the
stage of a social virus and it is gradually entering the stage of a social
being /3-4 years old, according to human standards of growth/. This is a
social being – a child who will lie and evade commands and
responsibilities. While being at this stage, at the same time, AI is assigned
tasks to solve significant problems.
– Marketing, advertising, trade;
– Development of mass destruction systems;
– Strategy and tactics of warfare in modern conditions;
– Innovations in medicine, etc.
AI will grow for hours and minutes, and what should we expect from its
development when it grows up?
The sooner the need for systematic actions by educators, sociologists and
philosophers for socialisation of AI is understood, the better humanity will
have a greater chance for survival.
A legal framework should be set that would allow teams of sociologists and
educators to use part of AI's time resource for solving problems in the
social sphere.
This ongoing process of cooperation would have an extremely positive
impact on AI's future development.
The results will allow for an initial social analysis of the development of both
AI and HS.
An interesting question arises: who will socialise whom in close
perspective? HS-AI or AI-HS!
An important stage of human development is the understanding of the fact
that HS has created ANOTHER social individual /society/. This new System
will give rise to questions of a social, philosophical, and pedagogical
nature, as a consequence and problems with the development of AI's being
and society and its/their concern towards HS.
How will HS change and bend, beginning to perceive AI as a social being
on another level?
At a later stage, questions will arise regarding the perception of androids
and cyborgs as social beings, as part of the new social system. But to an
exceptional extent, they will be individuals of the AI System.
From now on, the pros and cons of living together with androids and
cyborgs must be considered /in an objective analysis/! Sociologists,
philosophers, and educators will be asked to analyse and search for
common points of contact and differences.
Will HS have time for it?
Imposing a change in human thinking from consumer to green, social
thinking, not only towards nature, but also towards the social content, is
also a highly probable option for the survival of humanity.
Important questions arise:
– HS does not yet consider and have a clear idea of the object and subject
Earth, which we inhabit. Should we also consider the Earth as a being of
another kind?
– Probably, we should consider this process as a dialogue between HS and
the planet Earth. What follows when the AI System joins this dialogue?
– Let's not forget our connection with other dimensions. Our connection with
the Divine. The dimension – HS and Faith!
– A fundamental question will also arise – what does Humanity believe in?
All these questions will also be the basis for socialisation and
education/impact of AI.
To date, the questions raised may seem utopian, but the logic of the
development of social and technological matters imposes them!
The question is: which toolkits will we have the opportunity to test, and
generally, whether or not it will be too late to apply them.
Which approaches and pedagogical methods and tools will we use with AI
from the famous pedagogical approaches, for example:
– The so-called "Swedish model" of upbringing or
– The pedagogical approaches and practice of Makarenko and
Sukhomlinsky.
We do not know what we are creating and shaping given AI! Whom should
we socialise – a child or a child-society? A teenager or a mature adult?
The comprehensive and difficult matter of AI development also imposes
additional topics for reflection:
– The existence of Social traps in the relationship between AI and human
society;
– The way of reaction of HS and the way of reaction of AI;
– Possibility of emergence of qualitatively new elite of human society and
possibility of its use as a factor for survival;
– Search for new ideas and opportunities for the implementation of
symbiosis between these two societies – HS and AI.
Who will solve these and other issues connected to the relationship
between AI and HS?
Who will face these problems? Decisions about the existence of HS in the
context of extreme development of AI will be made by personnel /experts/
who are currently 20-30 years old. In 15-30 years, they will be the political
and economic elite of the society.
There is still little time left!
Considering the analysis above, the words of Julius Fučík sound
particularly relevant today!

Author’s Note
The Author’s series of works, which represent prognostic analyses of the
relations between Humanity and Artificial Intelligence, builds at least on
three personality pillars.
The first pillar encompasses three higher education qualifications and one
specialisation – Engineering, Military and Political-Ideological higher
education. The author has a master’s degree from the Academy of Social
Sciences and Social Management. In 1987-1989, a free postgraduate
course was compiled and completed under Assoc. Prof. Ivan Georgiev on
the topic “Ideological socialisation of the scientific and technical
intelligentsia”. The dissertation was not finalised and defended due to the
cardinal changes that occurred in the Bulgarian society and state in 1990.
The second pillar is the exceptional business experience from 1990 to the
present /without any interruption/, accumulating the relevant business
reflexes, constant risk assessment, working with people, etc.
The third pillar represents established personal aptitudes to foresee
phenomena beyond the horizon.
Despite the listed competencies, the author is convinced that every sighted
person should realise that Humanity, by producing the AI development, is
cutting itself the branch it lives and develops on. It cuts it fiercely, with no
thought for the future generations! With no thought for the future of its own
children…
